CLEANSTGAS GmbH is a joint venture between EBNER Industrieofenbau in Upper Austria and KWB Die Biomasseheizung in Styria. Each company is known for excellence in research. EBNER Industrieofenbau is the world market and technology leader in the manufacture of heat treatment facilities for the steel, aluminum and copper base metal industries. KWB Die Biomasseheizung specializes in the development of modern, fully-automatic biomass heating systems for pellets, chips and logs. The two companies' areas of expertise complement each other perfectly for the development of medium-sized wood gas power plants.

EBNER, a family-owned company with more than 1000 employees, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of heat treatment facilities for the steel, copper and aluminum semi‑finished products industry. More than 700 people are employed at the company headquarters in Leonding alone.
EBNER's three locations (Leonding, Austria; Wadsworth Ohio, USA; Taicang, China) manufacture continuous and batch-type furnaces featuring cutting-edge technology delivering maximum performance and optimum anneal results.
Besides planning and design, fabrication, installation and commissioning, great emphasis is also placed on consultation and customer support.
Modern production equipment ensures that quality is maintained. Demonstration facilities in the EBNER R&D laboratory provide the capability to carry out test anneals with production charges, and to optimize facilities and processes.
KWB Die Biomasseheizung

Last year's turnover of € 75 million was KWB's best year-end result to date. KWB was founded as a small four-person company in 1994, with the vision of renewable energy sources for everyone. Today, KWB die Biomasseheizung is headquartered in Styria, Austria, and employs 230 people in St. Margarethen an der Raab, Austria and a further 150 people in 10 offices worldwide.
